Day 21: Puerto Deseado and northward

This morning's been a day for relaxation or for exploring the town. It's Saturday morning and it's a quiet little town, but at least it has banks and shops, and they seem very pleased to see us and our tourist pesos. The ship's bar has even managed to buy some more chips! (we seem to go through a lot)

Having come here straight from the Falklands it's a little strange at times, as this was a major supply base in the Malvinas war. But hopefully we've managed to avoid offending too many people. Anyway, not much more time to use this WiFi connection, so here's just one photo from last week. It's a pair of Southern Sea Lions lounging in the grass on Barren Island.
